1. UME JAMB Subjects

The followings must be taken at the UME for consideration for admission into Architecture.

1. English language
2. Mathematics
3. Physics
4. Any one of the followings:   Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Chemistry
   1. UME Admissions

   To be admitted into this department, a candidate needs 5 O-Level credits which

   Should include the followings.

   1. English language
   2. Mathematics
   • Physics
   1. Any one of the followings: Geography, Economics, Government.
   2. Any one of the followings : Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Chemistry,

   Building-construction, Biology.

   In any combination, at least a pass in Chemistry is mandatory if it is not included in the five credits.

    

   1. Direct Admissions

   1   (a) Holders of the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Architecture with Upper

   Credit pass from NBTE accredited institutions may be considered for direct entry into the Second Year (200 level), provided they meet the O – level and all the other OOU requirements;

   OR

   (b) Also, holders of GCE A-level with a minimum credit unit of 9 in Mathematics,

   Physics and any one of the following: Economics, Geography, Chemistry, or Fine Arts may be considered for Second Year (200 level), provided such candidate meets the O – level requirements and all other OOU requirements;

   OR

   (c) Holders of Olabisi Onabanjo University, College of Engineering and Technology,

   Degree Foundation Programme in Architecture, URP or Fine & Applied Arts with CGPA of a minimum of 2.5 may be considered for direct entry into the Second Year (200 level), provided such candidates meet the O – level University and departmental requirements;

   OR

   (d) Holders of Olabisi Onabanjo University PDS programme with CGPA of 3.0 minimum may be considered for direct entry into the Second Year (200 level), provided such candidates meet the O – level University and departmental  requirements.

    

   1. Special Admission

   Holders of the Higher  National Diploma (HND) in Architecture with Upper Credit pass from NBTE accredited institutions may be considered for direct entry into the Third Year (300 level), provided they meet the O – level and all other OOU requirements.

    

   1. Postgraduate Degree

   PG Admission requirements

   1. B.Sc. Arch of Olabisi Onabanjo University
   2. B.Sc, B.Arch, B.E.S of other Universities with Second class upper (CGPA of 3.5 or above)
   • Candidates must satisfy other admission requirements of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Post Graduate School.
